Well, we’ve probably all read Deut. 28:15 & Deut. 28:1. However, in this message I wanted to emphasis the practical solutions outlined in Gods Laws that would literally solved all of the issues facing Black America today.
Stop the Crime:
‘“You shall not murder. ‘ Exodus 20:13 or thou shall not kill which mean not to murder
‘“You shall not steal. ‘ Exodus 20:15
‘And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it , then he shall bear his iniquity. ‘ Leviticus 5:1
Stop the Substance Abuse:
‘and they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. ‘ Deuteronomy 21:20-21
Stop the Obesity & Diabetes Problem:
1. Do not eat any unclean animal. (Deuteronomy 14:7-8)
‘However, of those that chew the cud or that have a divided hoof you may not eat the camel, the rabbit or the hyrax. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you. The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses. ‘ Deuteronomy 14:7-8
1. Do not eat any unclean fish or seafood. (Leviticus 11:10-12)
He tells us that salt and freshwater fish with fins and scales may be eaten (Leviticus 11:9-12), but water creatures without those characteristics (catfish, Shark, crawfish, lobsters, crabs, shrimp, mussels, clams, oysters, squid, octopi, etc.) should not be eaten.
“Health and good estate of body are above all gold, and a strong body above infinite wealth” Ecclesiasticus 30:15
Stopping the Cycle of Poverty by:
6 days you shall do work, but rest on the seventh. Laboring intensively:
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God, on which you must not do any work neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant or livestock, nor the foreigner within your gates” Exodus 20:9
Saving your Money:
“At harvest time, you are to give a fifth of it to Pharaoh, and four-fifths will be yours as seed for the field and food for yourselves and your households and children.” Genesis 47:24
A fifth is 20%, Pharaoh in this scenario is the Bank. Save 20% percent of your income, give 10% to God and live off 70% of your income.
The list goes on and on of the practical solutions that can be solved all by us following Gods Laws.
‘If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. ‘ Deuteronomy 28:1-3
