A prevailing state of emergency in America has created a current state of social unrest. Much of the social unrest is due to the lack of equality in America. A prime example is the discriminatory practices that we have publicly witnessed in regards to the police interactions with Black Americans versus White Americans. It is a national outrage that there are disparities in resources provided to students who attend Black urban public schools versus students who attend White suburban public schools.
It is a national crime that the penal code system sentences Black Americans 5 times more in jail than White Americans who commit the same crimes.
It is a national insult to the imbalance of Black ownership versus White ownership in regards to owning homes, owning land, and owning businesses. It is a disheartening state that this lack of equality continues to destroy this nation. There is only one solution to fix this problem
