‘But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” ‘ Romans 2:5-6
What is Repentance? Repentance is defined as turning from “SIN” and dedicating yourself to the changing of your life.
What is Sin?
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the LAW: for sin is the transgression of the LAW.” 1 John 3:4 KJV
The Bible explains that “SIN” is breaking Gods Laws. In order for me to Repent for my “SINS” I must turn away from breaking Gods Laws and start to follow his LAWS, DECREES AND STATUTUES. Did Christ abolish the laws of God:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” Matthew 5:17-18
These scriptures and explanation should be enough for a believer today to stop “SINNING” (Which is breaking Gods Laws) and start following his ways, commands and decrees. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27 KJV
Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand.
